Sometimes you better think twice before saying what’s on your mind. Polarizing Twitch streamer GreekGodx learned this lesson the hard way during his most recent stream Wednesday evening. The streamer was banned from a community Rust server after several offensive outbursts. GreekGodx received the ban during a live stream with fellow other streamers such as Trainwrecks and NoraExplorer.
Greek, whose real name is Dimitri Antonatos, called Nora the “w-word” in front of his fans. He made several comments towards female players that night and even used racial slurs towards other streamers like Myth and nmplol. The Rust server moderators lost their patience after a few warnings and eventually pulled the trigger on the ban.
It is widely known that Greek has exhibited ongoing behavior issues in recent months, resulting in numerous bans. Previous incidents include a Twitch ban for offensive statements and public fallouts with Pokimane and Corinna Kopf. Many streaming fans miss his early streaming days as a humorous sidekick to the up-and-coming chess prodigy Tyler1.
Greek’s failure to evolve as a creator, coupled with a mounting toxic attitude and contentious opinions, is truly lamentable. His admiration for polarizing “manosphere” figures like Andrew Tate is another reason for his decline on Twitch.
While some in the community still have sympathy for Greek’s personal struggles—including a public breakup and challenges with weight and mental health—crossing all sorts of lines has eroded most of the fame he once enjoyed. Even second chances, like being vouched for by Trainwreckstv to join this Rust server, failed to make any change.
