Ethan Klein of H3 and Ian “iDubbbz” Carter continue their feud that culminated in a rare “Content Cop” video targeting Klein. The former friends and collaborators fell out when Klein asked iDubbbz to publicly call out his previous editor, Froggy Tonic, who had perpetuated lies about Klein and his family.
Things got a lot worse when Child Protective Services showed up at Klein’s home after rumors spread online that his children had contracted giardia. Klein reportedly felt betrayed when iDubbbz didn’t separate himself from these people, some of whom were his friends, and some who were streamers like Denims and Frogan.
After all this tension, iDubbbz posted a new episode of his once-popular Content Cop series about Klein—his first time calling out a former friend instead of a controversial internet figure. The video showed iDubbbz doing a cringeworthy Fortnite dance with the creators Klein was fighting with, all while in Hasan’s bedroom.
The general consensus was that the new Content Cop just didn’t have the deep dive or comedic edge the old ones did. It was more like a personal vlog of iDubbbz defending himself and airing out Ethan.
The video split the audience, with some on iDubbbz’s side saying he could be friends with whoever he wanted, while others slammed him for not standing by Klein during the CPS mess.
