Kick streamer SJC had his IRL broadcast take a sharp turn after a roadside encounter with a man holding a knife. Footage from the stream shows SJC backing away, warning the man off, and finally hitting him with pepper spray when he kept advancing.

The clip picks up mid-confrontation near a roadway. The man appears agitated, moves toward SJC, and at one point is seen holding a knife. SJC retreats while continuing to film. When the man charges a second time, SJC sprays him at close range. The advance stops.

SJC and a companion then bolt for their car. Getting inside takes a few extra seconds, reportedly because the auto-unlock feature on his phone wasn’t connected via Bluetooth, forcing a slower manual entry. They drive off without further contact.

What triggered it

SJC’s streaming buddy Celfmade later said the man was angry that SJC wouldn’t help push his car out of the road.

According to follow-up commentary from the streamers, no police were called at the time. They reportedly drove back to the area to look for an officer but left again, worried the man might be carrying a gun.
