French-language streamer Minaravel was livestreaming from Paris ahead of a France vs. Senegal football match when a group of men walked into her broadcast, with one touching and forcibly kissing her on camera.
The footage shows several men, described as Senegal supporters, approaching Minaravel and another woman in the street. One of them is heard saying “le lion va manger le coq”, meaning “the lion is going to eat the rooster,” a football taunt referencing Senegal’s Lions of Teranga beating France’s Gallic rooster.
The situation escalated quickly. The clip shows one man making physical contact with Minaravel before kissing her without consent. She visibly freezes during the encounter rather than pushing him away.

After the men left, Minaravel told her chat that she felt embarrassed about how she reacted, saying she doesn’t have the temper for confrontation and gets “stunned” when she’s scared.
Freezing is a well-documented response to fear and unwanted physical contact, alongside fight, flight, and fawn. It’s involuntary, not a choice.
It isn’t currently confirmed whether Minaravel filed a police report or whether French authorities are looking into what happened. The man involved hasn’t been publicly identified.
Under French law, unwanted sexual contact can fall under sexual assault or sexual harassment depending on the circumstances.
The clip spread rapidly online, with viewers calling the man’s behavior predatory and demanding consequences. It’s the latest example of how IRL streaming, especially around alcohol-fueled sports crowds, leaves creators, particularly women, exposed to harassment they never signed up for.
