T1 took down Karmine Corp 2–1 in the MSI 2026 Play-In Stage Upper Bracket Round two, riding a dominant Peyz and Keria performance to advance further into the bracket.
The series followed a now-familiar T1 script. Game one was a clean stomp, Game two got messy and competitive, and Game three ended with T1 winning the fight that mattered most.
Bot lane was the story
From the opening minutes of Game one, T1’s bot duo took over. Peyz and Keria dictated lane priority, snowballed early leads, and gave Oner a clear path to keep snowballing the bottom side of the map. Caliste and Busio simply couldn’t keep up.
KC put up more of a fight in Game two. Busio looked sharper, finding angles and trying to swing fights in his team’s favor. T1 also got loose, with Faker and Oner forcing a risky Realm Warp engage that nearly cost them. Karmine Corp capitalized enough to even the series.
Game three belonged to Peyz. His Lucian into KC’s Varus and Neeko was a problem the entire game, with Keria’s Milio keeping him alive through every skirmish. Peyz reportedly closed the deciding game at 10/1/7, putting T1 in a position no fed top laner could counter.
Canna’s lead wasn’t enough
Canna was the bright spot for Karmine Corp. He built a massive lead in Game three, reportedly reaching 8/0 at one point, with KC dumping resources into shutting down Doran’s Yorick.
The problem was that T1’s bot lane was winning even harder. Doran kept Yorick relevant by farming side lanes from behind, and Canna eventually got caught, handing shutdown gold to T1’s already terrifying carries. One clean teamfight win later, T1 closed out the series.
Mid laner Kyeahoo also held up well against Faker across the series, giving KC something to build on. Yike, meanwhile, struggled to match Oner’s tempo around the map.
T1 move on in the upper bracket. Karmine Corp drop to the lower bracket and now face a much narrower path to keep their MSI 2026 alive.
