Félix “xQc” Lengyel turned a simple goodbye into a full-blown stunt clip during a recent livestream.
The moment started quietly. xQc was parked at his desk, headphones on, deep into a Minecraft session with music playing in the background. His housekeeper had finished up and was on her way out, seemingly trying to say goodbye before leaving. He didn’t hear a thing.
Once it clicked that she was at the door, xQc launched out of his chair and bolted toward the entryway. The sprint did not end well. He smacked straight into the door and looked like he lost his footing on the freshly cleaned floor, eating it right at the threshold.
The cleaner can be seen quickly stepping away after the loud bang, clearly startled by the chaos.
Despite busting himself up, xQc pulled it together and apologized on the spot, telling her something along the lines of, “Sorry I didn’t hear you.” He also thanked her for her work before heading back to his setup.
That is a familiar hazard of the job. Streamers wearing closed-back headphones with music and game audio cranked up tend to live in their own bubble, and the real world does not always get through.
