The message was grim. The silver skater told Rage that the planet had been marked for death. Humanity, he warned, didn’t have much time left. Rage played along. He kept a straight face and treated the cosmic messenger like the doom was real, which only made the whole thing funnier.

Then came the exit. Trying to skate away with dramatic flair, the performer nearly wiped out. Viewers blamed the classic enemy of every skater: a tiny pebble on the concrete.
Rage somehow held it together through the stumble. But the performer wasn’t done. He redelivered his warning one more time, and that was the breaking point. Rage lost it and laughed.
