ExtraEmily’s Canada tour produced one of its softest moments yet when a fan couple tracked her down during a Toronto IRL stream and handed her a handmade crocheted Pepe.
The OTK streamer was walking through downtown Toronto when the pair approached her mid-broadcast. They opened with a playful bait-and-switch, a classic “jebait” setup, before pulling out the gift and revealing the real reason they came over.
The crocheted Pepe immediately stole the moment. Viewers picked apart the craftsmanship in real time, pointing out the clean color transitions and how much effort clearly went into the piece. For a streamer whose chat lives and breathes Twitch emote culture, a handmade frog is about as on-brand as a fan gift gets.
The Pepe drop wasn’t a one-off. Throughout her trip across Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, and Quebec City, ExtraEmily has been racking up bags of gifts, snacks, and goodies from local viewers showing up to say hi. Short hellos, quick photos, small gifts, then on with the stream.
IRL stream sniping is usually a touchy subject for creators, given the obvious safety risks of strangers using a live feed to find you in person. This one landed on the wholesome end of the spectrum, helped by the fact that the fans clearly came with a plan that started and ended with handing over a frog.
