A police officer in Jacksonville found himself in a deadly shootout during what began as a routine traffic stop in March 2025, just after listening to Asmongold.
The officer, whose name has not been released, sustained a foot injury but managed to neutralize the suspect despite being under heavy fire.
The situation unfolded in northwestern Jacksonville when the officer attempted to pull over a vehicle that refused to stop. When the vehicle finally came to a halt, things quickly escalated as the suspect emerged armed with both a handgun and a rifle equipped with a drum magazine. Adding to the danger, the suspect was also wearing body armor.
As seen by xQc in the viral clip, the officer had been listening to Asmongold’s content shortly before the confrontation. The suspect allegedly opened fire immediately upon exiting the vehicle, striking the officer in the foot.
Despite being injured, the officer maintained remarkable composure. Taking cover, he engaged the suspect from a distance, demonstrating exceptional marksmanship that ultimately proved fatal for the assailant.
“The cop was really good,” noted one observer familiar with the situation. “He was picking shots from a distance and staying relatively calm for being shot and shot at with an AK.”
