PikabooIRL pulled out of a sponsored segment while it was still running live on his stream.
The segment promoted a Premier Trade League tournament backed by Tradeify. Pikaboo stopped the promotion, ended the broadcast, and the full stream replay was deleted soon after.
For a streamer known for World of Warcraft PvP and his rogue play in arena, a trading promo was already far outside his usual content. It didn’t stay on screen for long.
According to viewers, Pikaboo was on a call with someone from the sponsor’s side who was walking him through the product. Candlestick charts were visible on screen during the segment.
At some point, Pikaboo became uneasy about the promotion being linked to gambling. Chat reportedly pushed the same point.
He didn’t call Tradeify or the tournament gambling. He said he hadn’t expected that comparison, and he still saw the two as different. He also explained that he believed the promotion was meant to be educational.
He then backed out of the segment and ended the stream.
Many viewers gave him credit for stopping on the spot instead of finishing a promo he wasn’t comfortable with. Others questioned whether he understood the product before going live. Pikaboo hasn’t cleared that up.
