French freestyle football star Sean Garnier took on EsfandTV in a one-on-one football challenge. Spoiler: Esfand lost.

Garnier lined up with the ball while Esfand played defender, a goalkeeper waiting behind him in front of a small goal.

Garnier used tight control, body feints, and misdirection to freeze Esfand in place. Around the 18-second mark, he even added a theatrical hand-assisted move, briefly manipulating the ball around his upper body before slipping past the streamer entirely.

For anyone who didn’t recognize the performer, Garnier is one of the biggest names in the discipline. Real name Arnaud “Sean” Garnier, he won the very first Red Bull Street Style World Final back in 2008 and is tied to the French freestyle collective S3.

He built his reputation on nutmegs, wild feints, comedy routines, and beating unsuspecting opponents in tight spaces. Long-time football fans online remember him from the early YouTube era, and he’s still pulling out the same signature moves that made him famous.
