Dplus KIA mid laner Heo “ShowMaker” Su had a message for the crowd that booed him all series long: “Keep it coming.”
Playing against French favorite Karmine Corp in front of an audience that backed KC almost from start to finish, ShowMaker faced a wall of boos. He didn’t mind at all.
A big football fan, ShowMaker said booing is simply part of sports culture. The hostile crowd didn’t shake his confidence or hurt him mentally. In fact, he said he “actually loved” it. For him, the noise was proof he was living the life of a real professional player in the sport he loves.
KC fans, known as the “Blue Wall,” did their part. They booed DK at every chance and kept chanting for their team even as the series slipped away.
The boos never crossed into personal hate. Once the series ended, the same crowd applauded Dplus KIA, stayed for the ceremony, and even sang happy birthday to DK player Smash.
