Félix “xQc” Lengyel went after Hasan Piker on stream this week, claiming the political streamer picks his words carefully because his audience pays his bills.
“He’s choosing his language because his viewers are braindead and they pay for his meals and his mansion and they apologize for everything and they wanna justify any act of violence possible,” xQc said.
The comments came while xQc was reacting to Hasan talking about the Lindsay Clancy case, specifically the online theory that Clancy’s husband was somehow responsible for the deaths of the couple’s three children.
Several viewers who watched the original broadcast read Hasan as doing the opposite of what xQc suggested, telling his chat there is no evidence at all pointing at Patrick Clancy.
Others argued that even bringing the theory up gives it oxygen, and that Hasan handled it too gently instead of shutting it down outright.
xQc clearly landed on the second reading. His argument was less about the case itself and more about the money: that Hasan avoids hard disagreement with the people funding his channel through subs, donations, and views.

Lindsay Clancy is the Massachusetts mother charged over the deaths of her three young children in Duxbury. She pleaded not guilty, and her defense has centered on her mental state, with heavy public discussion around postpartum depression and postpartum psychosis.
The case drew huge attention online, and like most high-profile crime stories, it attracted a wave of amateur theories with nothing behind them. That’s the mess Hasan was wading into when xQc hit record on his opinion.
Hasan hasn’t publicly responded to the remarks. The two have circled each other before, clashing over gambling content and creator ethics, but there’s no sign this one turned into an actual back-and-forth.
