TL;DR
  • xQc's court case dismissed after ex-girlfriend Adept sold his car under a freeze order.
  • The car sale money was allegedly used for legal fees.
  • xQc says that the judge simply did not want to work on the case anymore.

It seems like Felix “xQc” Lengyel’s legal issues relating to the divorce from ex-wife Adept just never stop. In his latest Kick stream, he unveiled to his fans that the judge dismissed his request during the court case to recover his car from his ex-wife. Adept allegedly sold his McLaren 720s that was supposed to be frozen by court order.

xQc revealed the update during a recent stream as a fan asked for a status on the vehicle. According to the former Overwatch pro, Adept used the $300,000 from the sale of the car to pay legal fees related to their main lawsuit.

The dismissed case is part of a larger legal tangle between the ex-couple, involving multiple lawsuits. These range from disputes over common law marriage and divorce, to more serious accusations of sexual assault.

This legal drama has been a persistent thorn in xQc’s side for the past two years, heavily impacting his streaming career and recent move to the Kick platform. It’s a stark reminder that even for top-tier content creators, real-world problems can intrude on the digital playground.

Unfortunately, the judge simply could not be bothered to bring justice after the months long legal battle between the two streamers. xQc might never see his car again and it is safe to assume that the money has long been gone.
