Hanwha Life Esports have started Worlds 2026 with a statement win. The LCK side beat Top Esports in Round one of the Swiss Stage, and it wasn’t close.
Like other opening-round Swiss games, this one was a best-of-one. HLE now sit in the 1-0 pool and TES drop to 0-1. That hurts, but it doesn’t knock TES out. Teams need three losses to be eliminated.
The kill feed belonged to Zeka, but Gumayusi earned plenty of praise too. The two-time world champion, who won his titles with T1 in 2023 and 2024, looked sharp all game.
On the other side, JackeyLove came off worse in the comparison.
