Jacksepticeye left Maya Higa speechless during a recent Alveus Sanctuary livestream after telling her he wanted to donate $100,000 to the nonprofit.
The Irish creator, whose real name is Seán McLoughlin, made the offer while visiting the sanctuary for a collab with Higa and the animal ambassadors. Higa appeared visibly stunned when he said the number, taking a moment to process the figure on camera before responding.

Alveus Sanctuary is Higa’s nonprofit wildlife sanctuary and virtual conservation education center. Based in Texas, it uses livestreams and animal ambassadors to teach viewers about ecology, habitat loss, and conservation.
McLoughlin reportedly framed the pledge as something he hoped would push other creators and brands to step up. He said he wanted “companies” and “people who have the money” to start contributing directly to causes, rather than always leaning on chat and the community to fund them.
That message lands cleanly with his track record. McLoughlin is the creator behind Thankmas, his long-running annual charity campaign that has raised millions for causes ranging from homelessness to crisis relief. He’s been one of YouTube’s most visible philanthropic voices for years.
Higa, for her part, has built much of her platform around conservation fundraising and falconry education. A six-figure pledge from a single creator is a serious boost for a sanctuary juggling vet bills, enclosures, feed, staff, and ongoing educational programming.
