IShowSpeed has met Nitro Camden in person, days after the young streamer went viral over a conflict with his mother that reportedly ended with him leaving her home.
The meeting was short and informal. Speed did most of the talking. His message was basically one thing repeated in different ways: keep going, chase what you want to do, and don’t stop because someone told you no.
He also made it personal, telling Camden he had been through something similar with his own mom early in his career.
Camden was streaming to almost nobody until footage of an argument with his mother started circulating online. The clips spread fast, viewers accused his mother of mistreating him, and his channel exploded within days.
Speed’s story is a real reference point, but it isn’t a perfect match. His mother pushed him to focus on school instead of streaming, and some of that friction came from his own content, including the infamous moment he set off a firework inside her house on stream. He kept streaming anyway, and now runs one of the biggest channels on the internet.
Advice with no instruction manual
Speed’s pep talk was all belief and no logistics. Nothing about housing, school, money, or who Camden should actually trust with the sudden pile of offers heading his way.
Fans still called it the right move. Speed is one of very few people at that level who can look at a teenager fighting with his mom over streaming and say he’s been there.
Camden hasn’t publicly detailed what happens next, and it’s unclear whether he plans to stay in school or stream full time.
