Myth loaded up Choicer Voicer, picked a classic xQc clip, and did his best Félix impression. The game gave him 67%.
Choicer Voicer is a fan-made dubbing game tied to the Vinesauce community. It hands you a piece of audio and asks you to recreate it with your own voice, then rates how close you got.
The clip Myth chose was one of xQc’s most recognizable rants, the one where he goes off about other streamers’ computer setups, complete with the “NASA’s landing speeds” line.
Myth’s version landed hard. He locked in the French-Canadian accent, the rapid-fire delivery, the way xQc mashes words together when he speeds up, and the up-and-down pitch swings. Plenty of viewers said they needed a few seconds to realize they were listening to Myth and not the original sample.
Some also pointed out that Myth was doing a younger xQc, matching how Félix sounded back when the clip was recorded rather than his current voice.
So why only 67%? Because Choicer Voicer isn’t judging how much you sound like a person. From what players have worked out, the game compares waveforms, timing, and general pitch. Start a word a fraction too early, hold a pause too long, or peak your volume in the wrong spot, and the number drops, even if a human listener would be fooled.
That cuts both ways. A flat, unconvincing read with perfect timing can outscore a great impression that drifts by half a second.
